Day
01 : Arrive Chennai
Arrive Chennai (Madras). Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to
hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Chennai
Morning breakfast at hotel and explore the city of Madras visit Gandhi Memorial,
Kala Kshetra, Mylapore temple National Art Gallery, Fort St. George, St. Mary's
Church and the St. Thomas Cathedral and drive along the Marina beach and Walk
with our guide though some colourful market areas. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Madras - Mahabalipuram
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Mahabalipuram. Upon arrival in Mahabalipuram
check in at hotel.. Afternoon city tour of Mahabalipuram, built in 7th century,
Now it known as Mamallapuram, this ancient Pallava port, is today the sight
of several antique sculptural marvels. In this ancient seaside town, shrines
and huge sculptures cutout of rocks more than 1200 years back during the reign
of Pallava Kings in the region can be seen. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
Morning breakfast at hotel and excursion to Kanchipuram, city of a thousand
temples, Once the capital of Pallava, Kanchipuram still contains no less than
124 shrines. The temples were built mainly by two rulers, Mahendray and Mamalla
Narashimha Parman. Kanchipuram is also famous for its silks. Later return back
to Mahabalipuram for overnight stay.
Day 05 : Mahabalipuram -Pondicherry
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Pondicherry - which carries a strong
whiff of the French presence in India. Legend says that Pondicherry is the place
where St.Agasthaya settled down. Upon arrival Check in at hotel. Afternoon city
to of Pondicherry visiting war memorial, Town hall and Sri Aurobindo Ashram.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 : Pondicherry - Triuchirapalli
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Triuchirapalli, upon arrival check in
at hotel. Afternoon city tour of Trichy visiting Rock fort temple, Srirangam
temple, Horse court etc. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : Tiruchirapalli - Madurai
Morning after breakfast at hotel proceed to Temple city Madurai. Upon arrival
check in at hotel. The ancient city of Madurai, some 2600 years old is laid
out in the banks of river Vaigai as a lotus flower with the Meenakshi temple
in the centre. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

08 : Madurai
Morning breakfast at hotel and followed by city tour, Madurai's history goes
back to six centuries before Christ. The Pandyan rulers made this their capital
until the 14th Century and the city flowered with the genius of its writers,
builders, poets and academics. Then the Nayaks ruled Madurai from the middle
of the 16th Century to 1743. The ten tall Gopurams of the Meenakshi Temple were
raised during their dynasty. visiting - Meenakshi temple, King Tirumala's Palace,
Great tank and Gandhi museum. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Madurai - Periyar
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Periyar (Thekkady). The drive up to
this hilltop wildlife sanctuary is one of the most beautiful sanctuary. Starting
with coconut groves at the lower lever you then see rubber, tea and the spice
plantation as you gain height. Upon arrival check into hotel. Afternoon take
a boat ride in the Periyar Wildlife reserve and see the groups of elephants
with other flora and fauna. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Periyar - Kumarakom
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive for Kumarakom. The drive is a beautiful
experience passing through the backwaters and plantations. Kumarakom - Island
16 Kms west of Kottayam. Kumarakom is surrounded by the Vembanand lake and the
land has lots of streams and canals. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Kumarakom
popularly known for its bird sanctuary later in afternoon visit to bird sanctuary
to watch various species of birds. Overnight at hotel
Day 11 : Kumarakom/Alleppey Houseboat
Morning breakfast at hotel and transferred to the embarkment point for the Houseboat.
It is once a life time experience to have such a romantic and beautiful experience.
House Boat passing through the Backwaters of Kerala and sail through many canals
and waterways The journey will pass through the following areas Kumarakom, Vattakkayal,
Chambakulum, Ambalapuzha, Karumadi, Kayakulum, Alleppey. Overnight on the House
Boat.
Day 12 : Houseboat Dismbark at Alleppey/Cochin-
Morning after leisure breakfast at HouseBoat board your transport for interesting
drive to Cochin "Queen of Arabian Sea" and "Venice of the East"
Upon arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day free or at leisure. Evening
optional visit to see Kathakali dance performance on direct payment basis. Overnight
at hotel.

13 : Cochin
Morning breakfast at hotel and followed by city tour of Cochin visiting The
Dutch Palace at Mattancherry is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes
from the Ramayana. The Chinese fishing nets are huge cantilevered fishing nets
believed to have brought to Kochi by Chinese traders, Cochin fort. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 14 : Cochin - Ooty
Morning after breakfast drive towards Ootacamund most popularly known as Ooty.
It is mostly referred to as the Queen of the Southern Hills stations. It drivesss
its name from the Niligiri or the Blue Mountains - the name to the Hills by
the inhabitants for more than 850 years because of the blue haze of clouds which
envelope the hill slopes. Upon arrival check into hotel. Rest of the day at
leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15 : Ooty
Morning breakfast at hotel and leave for city tour of Ooty features Dodda Betta,
Conoor Tea Gardens, Sims Park, Dolphin's Nose, Lake and Botonical garden. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 16 : Ooty - Mysore
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive towards Mysore , wending along through
verdant and hilly countryside, where the legendary warrior Tipu Sultan built
the island fortress and Summer Palace entirely of wood, with exquisitely painted
walls. Upon arrival in Mysore check into hotel. Evening relaxing or visiting
the local bazaar. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 17 : Mysore
Morning breakfast at hotel and followed by sight-seeing of the city of Mysore.
Mysore a city of 17 Palaces - the Maharaja's City Palace being one of the largest
in the country. Today's city tour include the zoological gardens, the Chamundi
Temple, handicraft Centre and 22 kms away - the Brindavan Gardens, which are
a sight by day and night. Evening visit to the gardens where there are many
illuminated fountains. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 18 : Mysore - Hassan
Morning after leisure breakfast at hotel and drive to Hassan. Enroute visit
Sravanbelagola visiting The huge 17.7mtr high monolithic statue of first Jain
sage Gommateshwara Bahubali and Frescoes. Thereafter continue your drive to
Hassan upon arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon city tour of Hassan. Overnight
at hotel.Overnight at the hotel.
Day 19 : Hassan - Bangalore
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Garden city of Bangalore, upon arrival
check in at Hotel Bangalore International. Afternoon city tour of Bangalore
visiting Vidhan Soudha, the Legislative Assembly, famed for its massive carved
sandalwood doors and the Lal Bagh, a botanical garden boasting one of the largest
Banyan trees in Asia. Overnight at hotel.
Day 20 : Bangalore/Bombay
Morning breakfast at hotel. Intime meeting/assistance at hotel and transfer
to airport to board flight for Bombay. Arrive Bombay meeting/assistance at airport
and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 21 : Bombay/Onward destination
Morning breakfast at hotel. Intime meeting/assistance at hotel and transfer
to airport to board return flight. Hotel check out at 1200 noon.
